Book Review: Medicine Man by Saffron A. Kent

Hello everyone!! Today is the release day of Medicine Man by Saffron A. Kent and I here is my review of this amazing book!! I read the ARC and completely fell in love with Willow and Simon’s story and I can’t stop thinking about them and recommending this book!!! A very HAPPY RELEASE DAY to Saffron!!!     Willow Taylor lives in a castle with large walls and iron fences. But this is no ordinary castle. It’s called Heartstone Psychiatric hospital and it houses forty other patients. It has nurses with mean faces and techs with permanent frowns. It has a man, as well. A man who is cold and distant.…

Book Review: Professor Feelgood by Leisa Rayven

Hello everyone!! A LOT has been going on with me lately (some not so good, but I’m optimistic about it) so I didn’t really update the blog. Hopefully that will change soon! Today I’m going to review Leisa Rayven’s newest release, Professor Feelgood. I received an ARC of the book to read before the release day, in exchange of an honest opinion. I hope you guys enjoy my review and the post!     What’s a girl to do when a man who’s countless shades of wrong feels oh-so-right? Ambitious book editor Asha Tate is a hopeless romantic. Despite her mediocre track record with men, she believes in swooning, sighing,…

Book Review: Arrogant Devil by R.S. Grey

Hello everyone!! How are you today? Since I have the free time (my classes almost over) I decided to write a new post. So here is my first book review  (in English) here on the new blog!!!     Everyone in Cedar Creek, Texas, knows Jack McNight is an arrogant devil. Physically, I get it: he’s tan and fit, with coal-black hair that’s clearly been scorched by hellfire. Oh, and his personality? It burns just as hot. When I show up on the doorstep of Blue Stone Ranch, I’m run-down and rockin’ my last pair of underwear. I’m hoping for a savior, but instead, I find him. My opinion…

  • BEHIND THE BLOGGER

    Hello, Bookworld!!!

Hello everyone!! For those of you who doesn’t know me, I’m Carol and I’m a bookaholic from Brazil. I read a lot of books (usually around 400-450 a year) and I’ve been part of the indie book community for a few years now. A few years ago I started a book blog and had its name changed to Beauty and the Beastly Books. Until now I only blogged and wrote reviews in English, but I decided to create a proper website and have it in both English and Portuguese. I have a lot of friends in the book community, including authors, and I love recommending books and helping out…
